"Martin Mardi Gras Elegant Man"
For this photo, i decided to use a shutter speed of 1/1250 because the horse was moving particularly fast and I wanted to catch his movement in a still crisp shot. It was hard to time the picture right to show as much movement with him as possible, for example, I tried many different angles in the field as he was running around, from lower to the ground, to higher above my head, from to the left of him to the right, front and behind. In the end, a mid height worked well with his trot, and the movement was shown very well from the back where you can see all four hooves clearly. In this picture the horse, Eli, happen to be running moderately fast, so I got the picture with him on a slight slant, which I rather like in the shot because it becomes very obvious that he was running, as opposed to walking.I decided to call this piece, "Martin Mardi Gras Elegant man" because that's the horse's show name, which he is referenced to as he were in a show. I've always liked pictures of horses running, I love how majestic and beautiful horses look when they run, so I jumped at the chance to take the kind of picture of my own when Eli started to run. I also enjoy how the shadow balances with Eli's body, as he is closer to the left side of the picture and on a slant, the shadow does a good job of evening out the right side.

"iWindow"
For this picture I used a pretty moderate shutter speed of 1/60. How I came to take this picture was, i took a picture of the
computer on my phone, and then held it up in-front of my camera at the right angle to line up with the rest of the computer and window to make it seem as though my phone was see-through. It took a pretty long time to adjust the angle of the phone and the angle of the camera to get the right look, I had to move the phone front, back, side to side, and tilt it in the same directions for what seemed like 20 minutes before I got the right shot. I've decided to call this shot "iWindow" as a parody of all the apple products, starting with the iconic lowercase "i" and then what the product is, choosing window because I've made the phone look clear, as you can see through it like a window. I got inspiration for this photo when one day i saw someone else do this picture but with their laptop on their table, with books and a lamp in the picture, where i had the computer and windows in the background. I like how there is an illusion of depth, with the phone in focus and the computer out of focus, but there is also the illusion of everything on the same plane, with the picture on the phone lined up with the computer itself, I thought his rather interesting while looking at the photo after taking the photo.
